My contributions and involvement in Delray Beach up to this point:

1. I have a passion and personal dedication to youth sports in our City to keep our most prized assets, our children, off of the streets and in programs with positive adult role models to assist in developing them into productive adults.

1. I have been the Chief Umpire or Safety Officer and a Director for Delray Beach National Little League for the past 14 years.

1. I worked in concert with the boards of Little League and Soccer to develop a safety plan and studies of Miller Park and the soccer facilities behind old Atlantic High School to communicate to the City the decaying infrastructure, and sanitary facilities on both locations. The City recognized those problems and we now have new Soccer Facilities and groundbreaking on the Miller Park project just around the corner.

1. I have also been working with the Delray Rocks on securing a permanent home for this critical youth football league and believe we have a solution. Leasing Hilltopper Stadium, also behind Old Atlantic High School and taking over the maintenance with assistance from our volunteers promises to be a solution for years to come.

1. I am a Graduate of the Delray Beach Residents Academy and served one term on the Planning and Zoning Board.

1. I am an active member of the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce.

1. I serve as the City's representative on the Palm Beach County Metropolitan Planning Organization.

1. Board Member of the South County Regional Wastewater Treatment and Disposal Plant.

1. Board member for the new South Florida East Coast Corridor Study.

1. Volunteer with the Office Depot Foundation for the distribution of over 1,000 turkeys to organizations and shelters who cater to the homeless, hungry, battered and less fortunate citizens in Delray Beach.

1. Volunteer at S.D. Spady Elementary School.

1. Charter and active member in Lakeview Baptist Church.
2. Worked with and assisted Cason United Methodist Church in several projects including their most recent Community Garden.
